Consequences of the climate change are gradually becoming more and more visible and are increasingly affecting our current way of life. Successful adaptation to the climate change is one of todays biggest challenges. The climate change can be perceived as an opportunity, not just a threat. Both the region itself and the individual municipalities have an irreplaceable role in this process. Public administration and self-government become the leader and the driving force behind the implementation of specific adaptation measures. It is crucial for us to seek and find ways and possibilities to actively face climate change while sharing inspiring examples of good practice.

Let's find a way to a climate resilient region together...

The conference is organized by the Moravian-Silesian Region as the coordinator of the LIFE COALA project in cooperation with other project partners.

The event is held under the patronage of the Minister of the Environment of the Czech Republic, Anna Hubáčková.
