Communication Strategy and the Moravian-Silesian Climate Alliance
The tasks resulting from this activity were completed in Phase 1 of the project
Partners involved in the activity: Moravian-Silesian Region, Moravian-Silesian Investment and Development and the Partnership Foundation
The main tasks of the activity were the establishment of the Moravian-Silesian Climate Alliance (MSKA) and the creation of a functional communication strategy for the project as well as the topic of climate change and adaptation in general.
The Alliance was founded in 2023 and aims to connect regional partners, share adaptation experience and foster communication with local governments, businesses, non-profit organisations and the general public.
The Alliance includes the MSKA Standing Conference, which serves as a professional platform. It meets as needed and helps project partners to come up with concrete solutions for the implementation of adaptation measures and tasks based on involvement in project activities.
Successful adaptation to climate change in our region cannot be the sole responsibility of the Moravian-Silesian Region and its contributory organisations. It is essential to involve as many institutions, cities, companies and individuals as possible. Enlightenment and education are crucial to help raise awareness of climate change and adaptation options. This is the only way to respond effectively to climate challenges and build a more resilient region.
