Monitoring of the Socio-economic Impacts of Project Activities

Work on this activity began in 2024 and the outputs will be completed at the end of the project in 2031

Partners involved in the activity: Moravian-Silesian Investment and Development and the Moravian-Silesian Region.

In the Czech Republic, there is not enough data on the benefits that adaptation measures have for society. The aim of the activity is to develop a methodology that will be able to assess the socio-economic impacts of the implemented measures in terms of their costs and benefits.

Outputs from another project activity (Cost‑benefit Analysis and Ecosystem Services Provided within the Framework of Adaptation Measures in the Moravian-Silesian Region) will be used to evaluate ecosystem services and the economic impacts and benefits of the project.

Monitoring the impacts of project activities is important to assess the overall success of the project in the context of its objectives, such as strengthening the climate resilience of the region and supporting the implementation of green measures using new technologies.
