Pilot Adaptation of Buildings Owned by the Moravian-Silesian Region
The activity will start in Phase 2 and continue until the end of the project
Partners involved in the activity: Moravian-Silesian Energy Centre, Moravian-Silesian Investment and Development and the Moravian-Silesian Innovation Centre Ostrava
This activity focuses on the preparation of demonstration adaptation measures for 20 selected buildings owned by the Moravian-Silesian Region. These buildings will be selected following a feasibility study, which will be based on a detailed analysis of 100 regional buildings, which should be completed as part of the project by the end of 2025 and which will help identify the most suitable buildings for implementation.
Of the 20 selected buildings, at least 3 will have planning documentation prepared for implementation. The actual implementation of the measures will be funded from other sources linked to the LIFE COALA project.
Pilot projects are a key step towards the implementation of the Moravian-Silesian Adaptation Strategy of the Region for the Impacts of Climate Change. They help raise awareness of the challenges of climate change and show practical examples of effective adaptation and mitigation measures. The projects will be implemented using state-of-the-art and cost-effective technologies and should become a source of inspiration and an example of good practice.
The results and experiences from the pilot projects will then be presented on the MiSe Klima portal and will also be passed on through project consultancy.
