Study of the Impacts of Climate Change on Agriculture

This activity will be ongoing throughout the duration of the project

Partners involved in the activity: Moravian-Silesian Investment and Development and the Partnership Foundation.

This activity aims to promote sustainable agricultural practices and adaptation of the landscape to the impacts of climate change in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The main focus is on soil and water conservation, which are essential for the future productivity and ecological stability of the region. Climate change will affect not only the composition and production of crops, but also the economic stability of farms.

Phase 2 of the project will produce a Study of the Impact of Climate Change on Agricultural Enterprises. This document will help identify risks and opportunities for farmers in our region and serve as a basis for expert discussion on effective adaptation measures.
While the Moravian-Silesian Region does not have direct regulatory tools to influence the agricultural sector, it can create a system of support and advice to help farmers adapt to new conditions while keeping their business economically viable.
